Asylum Horror Show Reviews Winner of Best Comedy
WERE-WOOL
Sorry it took me so long to get this out. There was a lot of shit going on. Literally, a lot of shit, the sewage where I work has been damaged and I was working on repairs. Stuff just falls apart and that is no fun. However, when shit pisses you off you turn to comedy. And this was the funniest movie of the season.

Our movie begins in the still of the night. A farmer enters his field with rifle in hand gazing into the distance, looking for something. As he waits the wind cries out. When nothing happens, he returns to his home, disappointed and tired. Then we are introduced to Max. He is sleeping on the job when his boss comes in and calls him out for not doing his work. An argument ensues and Max begins his work. Then he returns home to his wife where she has exciting news. Though worn out and aggravated the door rings and we are introduced to her parents. They obviously have no faith in Max and tells there daughter how she could do better. Further and further, we find out how Max has always been pushed aside and never fought back for his beliefs and worth. Thus, the tragedy of Max is revealed.

The next day Max goes to work and demands a promotion. He wants to prove who he is, and his boss gives him an opportunity to do so, if he accomplishes a task, an investigation. Max races off to the old sheep shearing farm to investigate complaints of damage equipment that has been happening for a while, the reason why the damage happens randomly, is unknown at this time. Enter the farmer from the beginning of the movie. Max starts to investigate late into the day. Upon finishing he rushes to meet his wife at a fancy restaurant. As he races through the night, he hits a strange creature. When he tries to help it, the creature attacks biting him. He passes out and awakes the next morning covered in wool. As time progresses this push over starts changing.

So, what can I say about this comedy horror? The cinematography was good and the comedy though generic does put that smile on your face. You smile the whole time just watching the tropes that fall into the werewolf horror genre. Then the creature is revealed a giant sheep. The story is almost a combination of “An American Werewolf in London,” when it comes to an unknowing protagonist that wakes up every morning with amnesia forgetting the torture, he produced the prior night. As well as “Ginger Snaps,” when Max becomes more confident and demanding once he is bit. The movie was a fun watch and will make you laugh. We hope you enjoy.
